Putting your talent, passions and career goals at the core
of our recruitment process
Trust Education was founded with one simple aim: to develop a specialist recruitment service that puts exceptional talent, candidate goals, and the needs of our partner schools at the heart of all recruitment decisions. We knew it was possible to run a business well while still treating people fairly and putting others’ needs first, and that’s exactly what we’ve been doing since day one.
Combining 50 years' worth of expert knowledge and education experience, we wanted to create an independent, specialised recruitment service that truly understands the roles we offer and the professionals we place. To achieve the greatest outcomes on behalf of our partner schools, we first need to understand you - your skills, desires, and short- and long-term career goals. And we combine this with an innate understanding of the needs of the schools and communities we partner with. After all, we ourselves grew up in them.
We offer a fully bespoke, flexible approach to recruitment that combines clear communication, complete transparency and ongoing, personalised support. We’ll work closely with you to uncover, apply for, and secure the ideal role for you – whether that’s short-term, long-term, in the classroom or outside of it.
So, what are you waiting for?
Hi, I’m Laura, and I am the Branch Manager here at Trust Education. I am responsible for the South Yorkshire area, working closely with schools and candidates and overseeing the team. I started in recruitment at 18, fresh out of sixth form, and I’ve never looked back! I began my career in recruitment as an administrator and progressed to where I am today. With over a decade in the industry, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in education recruitment and always provide outstanding service.
When I’m not recruiting, I have two little boys, Albie and Jude, who keep me very busy. I love family weekends at the seaside and spending time with my family and friends. Shopping sprees child-free are also my favourite! I love a mixture of music from The Courteeners to One Direction, and it’s no secret! A little fact about me is that I’m the smallest in the office and may not even make 5 feet!
Hi, my name is Leanne, and I am a Team Leader at Trust Education in South Yorkshire. My main responsibilities are to find suitable people looking for roles within schools and perform screening checks through our registration process. I provide guidance and support for our teachers and support staff during their placements to ensure they have a positive experience. I also work closely with our amazing partner schools to build strong relationships so I can place suitable team members for their staffing requirements. We spend a lot of time speaking with new schools to promote our services and to ensure we recruit the right candidates to meet their specific needs.
I come from an educational background where I have been a teacher for 13 years and a deputy headteacher for five years. My insight into the educational system and the critical part that all members of the school play means that I constantly have our colleagues’ best interests at the forefront of our work. From what I have learnt about the recruitment industry, I know I could not do this job anywhere else! The Team at Trust really champions all of their colleagues and schools. They go above and beyond to do their very best for each and every person. As a teacher, this makes me feel that people who work through supply are truly valued for the vital role they have in schools.
In my spare time, I spend most of it with my young daughter, and family. I also love spending time with my friends, travelling, rock climbing and occasionally skydiving!
I am the Senior Secondary and SEND recruiter for Trust Education. I work very closely with schools and candidates across Yorkshire and East Midlands to ensure that all schools are staffed with the best possible candidates. My background was originally in engineering recruitment, where I led a team of recruiters who recruited across nuclear power stations in the UK. I haven’t always been in recruitment; I have a large background in hospitality, along with my work as a SEND nanny, where I looked after three non-verbal children. I have a deep understanding of the recruitment process, which is coupled with my passion for connecting talented individuals with rewarding opportunities, ensuring that I will always do this role to the best of my ability.
I did a lot of my schooling while living in South Australia, so I am constantly learning about the differences between Australian and English schooling, which only strengthens my knowledge for the roles I recruit for.
I love the theatre and go to see a live show whenever possible – my all-time favourite is Wicked! I am extremely family-oriented and spend as much of my spare time as possible with the people that I love.
Hi, I’m Molly and I am a recruitment consultant here at Trust Education. I am a graduate from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Business and Management. I have an extensive background in hospitality, so customer service and relationship building has been the forefront of my career. I work alongside the team at Trust Education, ensuring the best customer service and support for our clients and candidates!
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my little boy Alfie, we love the seaside, the park and farms. I love to listen to music, especially Taylor Swift, and watch musicals, my favourite being Wicked! I love to explore new places and try new foods, my favourite place so far being Cape Verde.
Hi, I’m Sam and I am a Recruitment Consultant here at Trust Education. I graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. After completing University I moved into the business sector working in Motor Finance, as a Team Leader. Customer service and relationship building were an important part of the role and both aspects are key skills of mine. I look forward to bringing that to Trust Education to ensure that both clients and candidates experience the best customer service possible.
Outside of work, I have a real passion for football. Having played at a decent level myself, I have now moved into the management side at a Semi Professional level. In addition to this I attend the gym on a regular basis to stay as healthy as possible which is important when you have a young daughter. I spend lots of time with my wife and daughter, we love going on walks in the countryside and having lots of fun together!
Hi, I’m Christie, and I’m the Team Leader at Trust Education. I am responsible for overseeing the team, with a focus on the East Midlands area. I have worked in recruitment for a number of years and have specialised in the Education Sector for over a decade. I am passionate about providing exceptional recruitment services to both schools and educational professionals and ensuring our quality is second to none.
I love listening to a bit of old-school R&B, and I am a big Craig David fan, too! In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, my two young daughters, Halle and Emmie, and my friends. When I’m not being “Mum”, I make sure I have time to work out, whether that be a long walk in the countryside or lifting weights in the gym.
Hi, I’m Olivia. I’m part of the Primary Team at Trust Education, working as a Recruitment Consultant. Before I joined Trust I worked as a Teaching Assistant, so I know what it’s like to be in the classroom and how important it is to feel supported in your role.
My background in education has been incredibly valuable in my recruitment journey. It gives me a genuine understanding of the challenges and rewards that come with working in education. This experience helps me connect with candidates and provide guidance that’s both practical and empathetic. I’m passionate about helping others find roles where they feel confident, valued, and equipped to make a real difference in the classroom.
When I’m not working, I enjoy all things outdoors from walking on beaches to camping on mountains. My furry, four-legged friend comes everywhere with me and loves a weekend camping adventure.
Hello, I’m Sarah! I’m the Team Leader at our West Yorkshire office at Trust Education. I’ve worked in education recruitment for over 10 years now, mainly with Primary and SEND schools across West and South Yorkshire. Over the years, I’ve learned how important it is to really get to know the educators and schools I work with. I’ve found that the best way to support everyone is building strong, lasting relationships to ensure that we find our amazing candidates the best role for them and quality members of staff for the schools we work with, whilst striving for excellence in customer service 100% of the time.
I studied English Language and Education Studies at University, and I’ve also got a BSL level 2 qualification and coaching certificates in both Athletics and Disability Coaching. Outside of work, I’ve spent time volunteering as an Athletics Coach at Thornes Park in Wakefield and even worked at a summer camp in Pennsylvania, USA, as a fitness and athletics coach (which was amazing!). I’ve also supported young people with Autism and SEMH.
I’m also a proud mum to my lively little girl, Lily, who keeps me on my toes and makes me laugh every single day, and I can’t forget to mention my two labradors, Benji and Teddy, who I’m totally obsessed with!
I'm Sam, I am a Recruitment Consultant and member of the Primary Team here at Trust Education in West Yorkshire. My previous experience in recruitment was in the nursing sector where I worked alongside candidates to provide support to hospitals across the London region. Now that I have moved back home to Yorkshire, I am thrilled to have made the switch into the education sector, and a career with Trust Education. I have a passion for meeting interesting, talented individuals, building strong relationships and placing candidates into their dream roles.
Day to day you can find me working alongside the team, catching up with candidates ensuring they are receiving the highest possible level of support. If I’m not on the phone to a school, then I’m on the road visiting them to chat in person to find out their specific wants and needs. This ensures that I’m sourcing the right candidate for any role the school requires assistances in covering. There is no better feeling then placing a candidate into a position that aligns with their skillset and hearing from the school that they are a perfect fit!
While I love Yorkshire for its beautiful landscapes and wonderful people, I also enjoy exploring other corners of the world. Since completing my Degree in History and International Relations in 2023, I spent nearly 6 months travelling across South America soaking up the culture and enjoying some amazing times with my friends.
Hi, I’m Alisha, the recruitment administrator at Trust Education. As an administrator, I help with registrations, ensuring a smooth process for everyone who walks through the door. I work closely with candidates, getting all the information we need to get them out into the schools we work with. An aspect that I love about this role is the ability to interact with candidates on a daily basis and create professional relationships.
Before joining Trust, I attended Sheffield Hallam University, where I studied for a BSc Hons in Sport and Exercise Science, followed by an MSc in Sport Business Management.
Outside of work, I have been doing Taekwondo since I was four years old and have worked my way up to a black belt. I love travelling and experiencing new places around the world, especially in the sun. I also enjoy going for brunch with friends and trying a variety of new foods.
